1977 Ford F-150 Custom Highboy 4x4

The term "Highboy" is a nickname given by enthusiasts to 1967-1977.5 F-150, F-250 & F-350 4x4's, including both Regular Cab and Crew Cab light duty pick-up trucks. The Highboy is the most desirable factory 4x4 of its era due to a narrow stout frame, increased height compared to other light-duty pickup trucks, and divorced transfer case. GM and Chrysler did not have a counterpart. The Highboy is also historically significant as the basis of the first monster truck: Bigfoot 1.

Each Highboy left the factory sitting higher than other factory Ford pick-up trucks.
